Woodsy Retreat Close to Mt Snow w Fireplace

The house was exactly as described and as depicted in the photos. Terrific location near the Chimney Hill clubhouse and easy, short drives into Wilmington, Bennington, Brattleboro and Mount Snow. Plenty of room to spread out with three full bathrooms, three bedrooms, full kitchen and back deck. We were very fortunate with terrific weather and we used both the inside and outside fireplace and fire pit and there is plenty of fire wood. Super easy check in and our host was proactive and responsive. We will definitely stay at this house again.

This was a great getaway! The first night was cold when we arrived so we started a fire in the wood stove in the basement and then one in the fireplace in the living room and it was cozy and warm in no time at all. I have this on my short list for cozy Vermont getaways. Host was quick to respond to questions and friendly. Close to town too. 20/10 would visit again!

We loved staying at Morgan's Woodsy Retreat. The house is in a tremendous location, near hiking trails, the clubhouse, and a short drive to Wilmington. We came for the Marlboro Music Festival, which is about 30 minutes away. The house was exactly as described and was perfect for our family. We had fun playing pool and ping pong. Morgan was a very responsive and flexible host. Highly recommend!

Had a wonderful time with my friends! Host was very friendly, responded quick to my questions, and home was very clean and as described in listing. Area is so beautiful and quiet, clubhouse was very enjoyable with the pool and staff was very friendly. Stores nearby which was convenient. Would absolutely come again!!! thanks!

perfect home for two families to share a weekend...3 bathrooms! kids loved the darts, and we could all watch movies on the spacious wrap around sofa. outdoor pool was easy location (short walk) from the house. would definitely choose this spot again, Morgan was quick to respond and clear about all details.

It was a beautiful place and we really enjoyed the amenities, including the pool/ping-pong table and the deck. The price was very reasonable but the additional fees made it less likely we can afford to return as often as we would like otherwise. Morgan was very responsive to all my questions and very kind. We will likely be back when we can. Thank you for everything.

Great house. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The house is clean, orderly and very user-friendly. Everything we could have wanted in terms of kitchen amenities (coffee machine, toaster, microwave, outdoor gas grill for BBQ, dishes, etc) were all readilly available. The house has a pool table, ping pong, darts, and various board games. Host was prompt and helpful in communications, and provided helpful instructions on settling in and departing. Highly recommend the house and host!

We had an excellent time. Weather was not great but the house and areaa had lots to do. The area downstairs was excellent when the kids went to bed they were not disturbed. Loved the firepit when it was not pouring. Unfortunately the I door pool was closed and it was a bit cold for the outdoor pool. The clubhouse staff was very friendly and nice. Would stay again.

We loved the place as it was very large and accommodating for our Bachelorette group. We had a fire outside and inside, so cozy! The kitchen was well stocked. Our only disappointment was the clubhouse being closed, we were really looking forward to the pool etc!

A perfect place for a nice ski vacation. Conveniently located near the town of Wilmington VT and near all the restaurants. 15-20 min drive to Mt Snow. The place has ample space and a nice cozy feel.

We had a lovely stay here! Morgan was very responsive and the place was great for us as a group of 7. We were able to cook in the kitchen and relax by the fireplace and play games downstairs. It is a steep road/driveway in the snow but we make it work! Would definitely recommend this place and these hosts any day. Made our Vermont stay so wonderful.

Morgan and Craig were great hosts. Their instructions were clear and communicated fast. I celebrated my birthday with my friends in their lovely cabin, and it was our first time in beautiful Vermont. Good spot for leaf peeping during fall!

Wonderful house to get away, yet close to main st. Hiking trails, restaurants, lakes all a very short drive away. Communication was easy and quick, which is most important to me. You won't be disappointed if you stay here.

This is such a great value. It’s a cozy place and close enough to town’s great restaurants and shops but feels very serene and in the woods. I highly recommend!
